Music and the Whatnot.
Hey, long time, no posts. I don’t think a soul has ever read my blog, so like I care what embarrassing things I say/show? I don’t even know why I’m typing this, but writing is fun, regardless of who does or doesn’t read it.
So, anyways, I’ve written and recorded some rough songs! I think what I’ll do is post the link to the song, and post the lyrics underneath. It should work. My songs are “My Dream”, “Stay Away From Me”, and “Here’s to You”. “Here’s to You” has cool guitar, but sadly my vocals are not that fit for the punk genre. I do think, however, that my voice sounds okay, and possibly “pretty good” in the other two songs, so I hope others agree with me. Heeere we go…
- ”My Dream” An acoustic piece about a feeling that all guys have once and awhile. This is not relevant to me currently, but the feeling has happened in the past… It needs to be recorded again because of quite a few mistakes, but everyone will get the idea from this recording, at least.
- “Stay Away From Me” More of a work-in-progress piece that can be taken into several ways. I have my own meaning for it, and maybe I’ll share them later. I actually really like this one… It’s actually not supposed to be acoustic, I was just too lazy to record my electric guitar at the time.
- “Here’s to You” In my opinion, this is a great pop/punk rock anthem. My vocals in it are not the best, but the lyrics are meaningful and the guitar in it sounds pretty sweet. …Well, in my opinion
